NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Broadway producer Ben Sprecher was arrested on child pornography charges early Tuesday morning at his home in Morningside Heights.

He was taken into custody by NYPD and Homeland Security Investigation agents.

Sprecher, 65, was arrested at about 6 a.m. at his home at West 122nd Street.

Sprecher is best known for his production of the failed 2012 musical, “Rebecca,” which never debuted after it turned out primary backer for the show didn’t exist.

An ex-stockbroker named Mark Hotton was found guilty for scamming Sprecher and the other backers, but Sprecher’s reputation still suffered.

He also produced the West End adaptation of “The Exorcist” in 2017, as well as “The Shape of Things,” “American Buffalo,” and “The Odd Couple” according to his LinkedIn page.
