NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Two people, including a 12-year-old boy, were killed and several others were injured after a fire broke out at a Brooklyn apartment early Monday, officials said.

The flames broke out on the fifth floor of a residential building at 30 Linden Boulevard in the Flatbush section just before 2 a.m.

200 firefighters were on the scene and it took them about an hour to extinguish the blaze.

A 12-year-old boy and a 69-year-old man died in the fire officials confirm.

Their identities have not been released.

An 82-year-old woman and a 30-year-old woman were rushed to NYC Health & Hospitals/Kings County, where the 82-year-old female remains in critical condition and the 30-year-old female remains in stable condition, authorities said.

There were about 13 people injured, including five firefighters, FDNY officials said.
