Boy, 11, in police custody after slashing face of another boy, 13, outside Brooklyn school

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — An 11-year-old boy slashed a 13-year-old in the face outside a Bed-Stuy charter school Wednesday morning, according to police and the FDNY.
The attack took place outside Leadership Prep Bed-Stuy Academy on Macon Street between Marcy Avenue and Tompkins Avenue at around 7:40 a.m., officials said.
The 13-year-old went into the school to call 911 and was brought to Maimonides Hospital to be treated for cuts on his face, said police.
The two were known to each other and attended the same school
The slashing following a dispute, said officials.
The NYPD said the 11-year-old was taken into police custody and charges are pending.
