Booker says he's never smoked pot, but Rosario Dawson 'turned me on to CBD oil'
Wendy Williams
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Presidential hopeful Cory Booker stopped by the Wendy Williams Show on Monday.
The talk show host and the senator spoke about growing up in New Jersey, legalizing weed, and his girlfriend Rosario Dawson.
When asked how he feels about weed, Booker answered by saying that he has strong feelings about it.
"You should never talk about legalization of Marijuana, if you're not talking in the same paragraph about expunging the records of those people who've been convicted in the past."He said.
Booker also confessed that he has never smoked or drank in his life.
"I've never smoked, I've never drank, but I have vices. I have vices," Booker said.
He added that his girlfriend, actress Rosario Dawson, has turned him on to the benefits of CBD oil.
The senator was asked how he and Dawson started dating and Booker described that he was at a rooftop party thrown by Sarah Silverman and asked was not confident when asking for her number.
"I have a lot of confidence in a lot of areas, but I tell you, I did not feel confidence when I asked for her number." Booker explained.
At the end of the party both he and Dawson were still lingering and Booker walked up to Dawson.
"Well how would I contact you if I wanted to get in touch with you?" To which Rosario answered "Oh, you're asking for my number."
Booker and Williams then played a game called "The Hot Seat", where Cory was asked if he would partake in using marijuana if weed becomes legal.
"Well, it is a mission of mine to make this drug legal," Booker said. "If we achieve my dreams, I will do something to mark the moment."
