Bodega worker stabbed to death in Inwood

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A worker at a bodega was stabbed to death in inwood Wednesday night.

Mohmmad Awada, 28 was working in his family’s store, the Dyckman Kwik Shop on Dyckman Street, when he asked some men loitering outside to please move along.

Instead, authorities say, one of the men pulled a knife and stabbed Awada in the chest.

He was rushed to Columbia Presbyterian but they couldn’t save him.

Police are still hunting for his killer.
