Feel like a kid again at the latest public art installation  in the Garment District. The Garment District Alliance brings an interactive seesaw collection titled "Impulse". Choose from any of the 12 illuminated, seesaws to ride for an awesome experience.

Prospect Park Mulchfest

Wrap up your holiday season and say good bye to your tree at Mulchfest. Join in on the NYC holiday tradition of recycling your Christmas tree while the city chips your tree into wood chips that can be used to nourish trees or any of your plants.

Ziggy Flatiron Installation

Take a look at the winning structure in this year's flatiron public plaza holiday. 'Ziggy' is a kaleidoscopic installation that is dedicated to the people of New York. Ziggy frames several New York icons, including the Empire State Building, and of course, the Flatiron Building.

NYS Winter Run Winter Run Series 5K

If you're looking to be more active this year, look no further. Sign up for the NYS Winter Run Series at Heckscher State Park. This is the first race of a series of four races to be held every Sunday on Long Island. You can challenge yourself to run them all or sign up for a single one.
