NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- WWE Superstar Becky Lynch is looking forward to competing in the first-ever women's main event at WrestleMania and to what's next for women's wrestling. But she's also looking forward to the day when women who are having the same - or more - success than men isn't seen as out of the ordinary.

"It needs to get to the point... where we're asking that of the guys - 'what's next for you GUYS in wrestling, what's next for ya,'" Lynch said to 1010 WINS.

But she admits she'd like to see the women in a prominent spot on more WWE events.

"Where we're constantly having main events of any show, all shows, whatever shows," Lynch said. "Maybe we're having as many female matches as there is male matches. Maybe we're having more."

With both titles on the line, Lynch will compete in a "Triple Threat" match at WrestleMania 25 against WWE Raw Women's Champion Ronda Rousey and WWE Smackdown! Women's Champion Charlotte Flair. And while Lynch knows that both Rousey and Flair have their supporters, she's confident that she'll be the one who the New York City-area crowd is behind.

"I just have a special connection with this place, said the Irish-born Lynch. "It was the first place I came to in America when I was 7, my mom took me (to New York City) for Christmas, and I fell in love with the City back then."

Lynch is confident that the support of the fans, along with her skills in the ring, will lead to her walking out of MetLife Stadium with both championship belts. But she admits that she's not sure how she will get them home.

"I did not leave room in my suitcase... BUT I will get another one with, hopefully, (my) big old WrestleMania payday."

WrestleMania 35 is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Sunday, April 7 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. It airs live on the WWE Network.

Other stars scheduled to compete include Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, Triple H, Kofi Kingston, Daniel Bryan and straight out of Marvel's 'Guardians of the Galaxy,' Dave Bautista.
