ROCHELLE PARK, N.J. (1010 WINS/AP) -- Fourth of July celebrations fizzled in a pair of New Jersey towns when a vendor failed to deliver.

Fireworks Extravaganza, which operates out of Rochelle Park, posted an apology Thursday, to its Facebook page blaming a 'perfect storm of events' for the canceled shows in Beachwood and Milltown.

The company was supposed to deliver supplies from Maryland, but didn't have a licensed Hazmat driver or contingency plan.

The company's president John Sagaria took blame for the problems. He said he hopes the issue can be resolved, and offered to put on a choreographed show at no cost.
