NEW YORK (1010 WINS) --  Police are searching for two men they said stole an ATM from a deli in the East Village overnight Friday.

Officials were called around 4:30 a.m. after a woman walking her dog reported the two men using a large piece of equipment to cut the roll-down gate at the Yankee Deli located on East 11 Street and Avenue C.

Authorities believe the suspects used a white van with New Jersey plates to rip out the ATM.

They then loaded the ATM into the van and fled the scene.

The deli suffered structural damage, with the gate and wall collapsing ABC7 reports.

It is unclear how much money was inside the ATM machine.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
