NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Cops in Brooklyn and Queens are on the lookout for a couple of armed robbers holding up laundromats and delis.

They've robbed at least ten businesses at gunpoint in the past couple of months in the neighborhoods of Gravesend, Sheepshead Bay, Maspeth, Flatbush, and Queens Village.

The pair has made off with thousands in cash from registers, as well as cell phones, laptops, and merchandise.

In some cases they've even gotten violent; pistol whipping and zip-tying store clerks.

Cops say it's the same two guys. Both men have been described as 5'9" with medium builds.
