NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Aretha Franklin has left a Detroit hospital but is now in hospice care at her home, according to multiple reports.

WDIV Local 4 first reported that the Queen of Soul was checked into a hospital Friday evening and was “gravely ill.”

“She has a great family, she's surrounded by love, and the world is sending prayers,” Showbiz 411’s Roger Friedman told CNN.” All further announcements will be made by her family. We just want to send love and prayers.”

The soul singer has allegedly been in failing health for some time, including a report that she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2011. However, the 76-year-old has animatedly denied the claims.

In February of 2017, Franklin announced her retirement from touring. Though, said she would perform at “some select things.”

Earlier this year, the Grammy winner also canceled multiple concerts after being ordered by her doctor to stay off the road.
