NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- One of Gov. Andrew Cuomo's daughters was spotted this week incorrectly wearing a mask in an Instagram photo she posted -- and some of her followers were not very forgiving.

In the photo, Mariah Kennedy Cuomo, 25, is indeed wearing a mask, but it is not covering her nose. Her mask-wearing dad is behind her with his dog on a street in Albany. "Walking Captain with the “love gov," she captioned the photo.

A reminder: Last week her dad signed an executive order requiring face coverings in public. "If you are going to be in a situation, in public, where you come into contact with other people in a situation that is not socially distanced, you must have a mask or a cloth covering nose and mouth," he said.

And the CDC's coronavirus website, under the heading "Everyone Should," reads the following: "Cover your mouth and nose with a cloth face cover when around others."

“OMG…Cover your nose!” one Instagram user commented.

"You have your mask on wrong," another wrote.

“Please everyone, be sure to put the mask over your nose as well as your mouth," another wrote."

But a rep for the governor told The New York Post it's much ado about nothing: "It was a momentary slip of the mask."
