Amazon confirms coronavirus outbreak at NJ warehouse

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Amazon on Thursday confirmed that a coronavirus outbreak took place at one of its facilities in New Jersey.

"We are supporting the individuals who are recovering," Amazon spokesperson Timothy Carter said. 

The facility is located in Carteret.

More than 30 workers tested positive for coronavirus, according to Business Insider.

It is the largest outbreak of the virus at an Amazon facility, according to the report.

According to the report, workers at the warehouse received a text message informing them of "additional confirmed cases of COVID-19."
