Standing alongside the 'Fearless Girl' statue Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney mounted another battle for passage of the Equal Rights Amendment.
"It's time, long past time to put equality of treatment, fairness in the Constitution for women," she said.
She was joined by #MeToo activist Alyssa Milano.
"Lack of recognition of women's equality perpetuates the belief that women are less-than which leads to unequal treatment, abuses of power, sexual harassment," she said.
They said the right to vote is the only right guranteed to women in the constitution.
