NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Alec Baldwin is suing a man who sued him for allegedly punching him in a spat over a parking spot.

Baldwin sued Wojciech Cieszkowski for false imprisonment and defamation in a complaint filed Friday in New York Supreme Court.

Cieszkowski accused Baldwin of punching him in the face last year.

A copy of the lawsuit was provided by his lawyer, Luke Nikas to USA Today.

“When two New Yorkers get into an argument over a parking space, typically what happens is they exchange a few sharp words and then move on with their lives," the lawsuit reads. "But that is not what happened here. Cieszkowski has instead made up a false story about the encounter and refused to move on unless Baldwin succumbs to his extortion demands.”

The complaint alleges Cieszkowski exaggerated his injuries and lied to the police.

It says that Cieszkowski “suffered no cuts, no bruises, and no fractures. His scans all came back normal. In fact, Cieszkowski’s supposed 'injuries' were so minor, or non-existent, that his discharge instructions were to take a single dose of Tylenol."

Cieszkowski’s lawyer Doug Lieb told USA Today in a statement that Baldwin’s lawsuit was “a desperate tactic designed to silence Mr. Cieszkowski.”
