After promising start, loss to Browns has Jets fans in despair

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- It all seemed so promising when the Jets beat the Lions 48-10.

Until Thursday night, when they lost to a team that hadn't won in more than 600 days.

It was a dark and losing night for New York teams -- the Red Sox popped champagne after clinching the AL East at Yankee Stadium, and fridges full of Bud Light popped open in Cleveland as the Browns beat the Jets.

"Eventually you gonna win, every team do not lose, eventually a team is gonna win, eventually it's gonna happen. That's what happened with the Browns, eventually they're gonna get out their hump and they got passed it. Unfortunately they beat the Jets," Romain said.

One man said he knows why the Browns broke a two year losing streak.

"You know what the Jets stand for right? Just End The Season," he said.

When the Mets, Giants, and Knicks are your other options it seems there may be reason to despair.
