NEW YORK (1010 WINS/AP) -- Convienence store chain 7-Eleven is launching a service that allows customers to order anything from a slurpee to a battery charger and have it delivered to a public place such as a beach or park.

Starting Monday, users will be able to take advantage of more than 2,000 7-Eleven 'hot spots" including Central Park in New York and Venice Beach in Los Angeles.

In order to find a hot spot near them, customers must download 7-Eleven's app and select  the "Show 7NOW Pins''.

In 2018, 7-Eleven launched out an app-based delivery service to shoppers' homes in 28 major metropolitan markets.
