NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — There were 200 people at a barbecue on Stanley Avenue not far from the Pink Houses project when gunfire broke out at about 7 p.m.

A 42-year-old man in critical condition was rushed from the scene with a bullet wound in his head and later died.

The Daily News reports the man’s name as Basheem Graham.

Two others were also hit and are in stable condition, with one actually driving himself to the hospital.

Police are looking for a single shooter.

A couple of hours later a 16-year-old and two 19-year-old males were wounded after being shot at a playground on Kingston Avenue in Bed-Stuy.

Police believe there were two shooters in that case and are examining surveillance footage.
