BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (1010 WINS) -- Gunfire outside a Connecticut court on Monday left four people wounded.

Shot rang just after noon at the Bridgeport Superior Court at 172 Golden Hill Street.

Initial reports said that there were two victims outside, and two victims inside the courthouse, although the two inside may have run into the building after being shot.

Officials say two victims were transported to St. Vincent's Medical Center and the other two are being treated at Bridgeport Hospital.

Police say that the getaway car is a blue compact Volkswagen with Georgia plates.

Officials from the mayor's office said the shooting was not a random act and those victims who were shot were targeted.

It's unclear if the suspect fired shots from inside the car.
