35-Year-Old Man Killed In Bronx Townhouse Fire

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A fire has cost a Bronx man his life.

The blaze broke out around 11:30, Monday night, in a townhouse on Freeman Street in the Foxhurst section.

The FDNY said firefighters found the victim dead on the first floor. He has been identified as 35-year-old Russell Henry.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Officials say the victim had a long criminal history, and that the fire is considered suspicious, 1010 WINS reports.
