30-Year-Old Man Must Move Out Of His Parents' House, Judge Rules

May 23, 2018 - 11:50 am

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The parents of 30-year-old Michael Rotondo of Syracuse went to court to evict their son, saying he's lived there for too long, while contributing way too little.

The judge agreed, and Rotondo must leave.

Rotondo claims he lost his job 8 years ago, and lost custody of his young son last September.

"After you lose your son, and then shortly afterwards it's like 'hey lost your son, and get out of the house.' I was devestated when I lost my son," he said.

Rotondo said the judge handing down the decision that he must leave his parents home never considered his custody case, and didn't give him enough time to find a new place.
