3 sought in string of Queens burglaries: police

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for three men wanted in connection to a Queens robbery pattern that have occurred within the past two months.

According to authorities, five incidents have taken place between August 23 and October 14.

The suspects allegedly gained entry into vehicles that were in a parking lot near a building on 132nd Street police said.

Once inside, police say the suspects removed personal property, cash and credit cards.

Shortly after the vehicles were broken into, the credit cards were then then used at local stores.

Police say the fifth incident took place on Monday, October 14, at 1 p.m., when a 60-year-old man parked his vehicle in a lot on 20th Avenue.

When he returned to his vehicle, the victim found that his credit cards were removed from the center console and approximately $2,300 of unauthorized purchases were made on his Amex and Discover cards at a nearby Target.

According to police, one vehicle was damaged during the incidents.
