July 13, 2018 - 3:09 pm

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Three people were shot Friday afternoon at a shopping center in downtown Brooklyn, police said.

The shooting happened at around 2 p.m. in front of a Gap store at the Fulton Mall.
The victims were transported to Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. None of the victims' injuries are life-threatening.

Stores were evacuated and shoppers spilled out into the streets after the shooting. Police have not made any arrests.

Police said the shooting incident started as a dispute between one man and a group of five people. The situation then escalated, and one member of the group opened fire, striking in the leg the 31-year-old man with whom they were arguing.

The other two people shot were bystanders: A man, 28, and a woman, 26. Each were hit in the hand, and they were not involved in the dispute.

Police are still looking for the shooter.
