VIDEO: 3 men sought in violent attack following a dispute in the Bronx

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Officials are searching for a group of men wanted over a violent assault last week in the Bronx.

According to police, the incident occurred on Hoffman Street and East 187 Street in the Little Italy section at approximately 1:20 a.m. on July 1.

A 35-year-old man was involved in an argument with the three men.

The dispute escalated and the suspects punched, kicked, and stabbed the victim who suffered numerous puncture wounds to his chest, back, torso, and hand.

EMS rushed the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital in critical condition.

Officials released surveillance footage and photos of the men wanted in the assault on Wednesday.

Police describe the first suspect as a heavy-set Black man with a beard and mustache, about 25 to 30 years old. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, black and red shorts, and black sneakers.

The second suspect is described as a Black man with a beard and mustache, 25 to 30 years old who was last seen wearing a white du-rag, a blue shirt, blue and white shorts and white sneakers.

A third suspect is described as a Black man, about 25 to 30 years old.

He was last seen wearing a white shirt, blue pants, and black sneakers.
