3 men shot in attempted Queens home invasion

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A home invasion attempt in the St. Albans section of Queens left three men shot in the basement of that residence, police say.

Officials say that the shooting occurred just after midnight after the suspect(s) entered the residence at 120-37 200 Street.

One man was shot in back and taken to Jamaica Hospital along with another man who was shot in his leg, while a third man also shot in the leg was taken to Franklin Hosptial in Nassau County according to reports.

All three men injured remain in stable condition.

The firearm used in the shooting was found on property along with marijuana, ballistics and possible weapons police say.

Police are working to find a motive and who the suspect(s) is of the three injured.
