NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Twenty-six people in Westchester County have been quarantined over coronavirus concerns, following recent travel to areas in China where the virus has struck, officials said.

The individuals are being voluntarily quarantined mostly in their homes.

None of the people have shown symptoms of the coronavirus, officially called COVID-19.

Dr. Sherlita Amler, Westchester County's health commissioner said at a press conference Tuesday, "These people are not ill, but we still have to monitor them."

The exact location of the individuals was not disclosed.
