20,000 Bees Swarm NYPD Camera In Times Square

June 18, 2018 - 9:31 am

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD has a surveillance camera at 42nd and Broadway, and something about it proved extremely alluring to bees on Sunday.

Instead of minding their own beeswax, about 20,000 swarmed the camera in Times Square.

Cops moved in and quickly removed the bees to what officials say was a safe location. Nobody got stung, and cops say no bee was left behind.

There was no explanation as to how the bees made their way to Times Square.
