2 teens—ages 16, 17—shot, wounded in the Bronx overnight

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Two teenagers were shot and wounded in the Bronx on Friday morning, police said.

The two teens, ages 16 and 17, were shot on Ellis Avenue, near Pugsley Avenue, in the Unionport section around 3:15 a.m.

Police said the 16-year-old was shot in the abdomen and the 17-year-old was shot in both legs.

The teens were taken to an area hospital and both are expected to survive.

Police said they weren't cooperating with detectives.

No arrests have been made in the shooting.
