NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Two men were shot in a drive-by in Brooklyn Thursday night officials confirmed.

The victims, both 28-years-old, were shot at around 11 p.m. on St. Marks Avenue near Schenectady Avenue in the Crown Heights section, police said.

One victim was shot in the leg and the other in was hit in the buttocks, officials said.

The incident occurred after a dispute with at least one suspect who passed by in a dark sedan, according to police.

The driver fled eastbound on St. Marks Avenue.

Both victims were taken to the Westchester Square location of Montefiore Medical Center by private means and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The shooting was one of seven gun violence incidents involving eight victims that were reported citywide officials said.
