2 men arrested in connection to violent attacks on Hasidic men in Williamsburg

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Authorities have arrested two of the four suspects wanted in connection to a series of violent attempted robberies of Hasidic men in Williamsburg.

19-year-old Deandre Diagle was arrested and charged with four counts of robbery and four counts of assault police say.

Officials have also arrested 20-year-old Michael Bellevue and charged him with four count of robbery and three counts of assault.

Chief of Detectives Dermot F. Shea urged anyone who may have information on any of the incidents to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.


No hate crime charges have been filed against the two suspects in custody but police are still searching for the remaining suspects.
