NEW YORK (AP) -- New York City police say they've arrested two of a dozen people wanted in connection with a street brawl after a speech last week by the founder of a far-right group that's now facing a criminal investigation.

Proud Boys founder Gavin McInnes told The New York Times on Friday that he was arranging the surrender of wanted group members who were still at large.

NYPD Deputy Commissioner John Miller told the Times that the Proud Boys ``are the subject of a regular criminal investigation'' by the department.

The NYPD has said it's looking to arrest nine Proud Boys members and three protesters.

Police say they believe one of the men arrested so far is a Proud Boys member. They wouldn't immediately say which side they believe the other man was on.
