NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- With the end of summer nearing, it comes as no surprise that all things flavored pumpkin or pumpkin spice are beginning to make an appearance.

Among the first is Starbucks, with its Pumpkin Spice Latte and Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, debuting on Wednesday. The Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew is actually the first pumpkin-flavored drink to debut in 16 years.

The Cold Brew is "sweetened with vanilla syrup, topped with a pumpkin cream cold foam and a dusting of pumpkin spice topping," according to Starbucks.

As for the Pumpkin Spice Latte, Starbucks says it is "Our signature espresso and steamed milk with the celebrated flavor combination of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. Enjoy it topped with whipped cream and real pumpkin pie spices."

Being that the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew is the first of its kind in nearly two decades, 1010 WINS taste-testers Walter Geis, Kimmy Dole and David Caplan decided it was worth a try. Here's what they thought:

Walter Geis: "Call me basic but as a huge pumpkin fan, I’m excited to see the PSL finally has a sibling. The foamy top half of the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew is like foamy pumpkin heaven… but the bottom half just tastes like coffee. Overall, it’s good but not as good as the original PSL. Ask me again if they let me order a venti cup with just the pumpkin foam."

Kimmy Dole: "Call me basic, but I love all things pumpkin. It’s one of the few things I look forward to when summer is over. Even though I’m not a big coffee drinker, I was really looking forward to trying Starbucks’ new pumpkin cream cold brew. At first sip, you can taste the pumpkin cream that’s floating on top and it’s really delicious. The dash of cinnamon and nutmeg was perfect. The sweet addition of pumpkin froth was great and the cold brew is still pretty strong, so you don’t feel like your coffee is too sweet or watered down. I was energized after sipping on my drink. I actually think this is way better than their original pumpkin spiced latte. Two thumbs up from me!

David Caplan: I typically steer away from all things pumpkin-flavored -- except piece -- so I was eager to see if this drink would sway me. And it did! The pumpkin cream foam and the spice topping was just enough of the pumpkin taste. I like it. Not too overpowering. And the foam is the best part of the drink!
