1 dead, school bus struck by bullet during shooting in Brooklyn

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Shots rang Tuesday morning after a confrontation near Pennsylvania Avenue and Dumont Avenue, striking a a school bus with children in it in Brooklyn.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 32-year-old male with multiple gunshot wounds to the abdomen.

EMS transported the victim to Brookdale Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. He was later identified as Francisco Bonilla, 32. 

One bullet hit the school bus, but did not injure anyone in it. 

Three men fled the scene running north on Pennsylvania Avenue, according to police officials.

So far, no arrests have been made, and the search for the gunman is ongoing.
