1 dead, 2 hurt in early morning shooting outside NYC club

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Three people were shot, and one of them died, after gunfire erupted near an after-hours club in the Bronx early Saturday, police say.

One man was found shot to death outside the reported club on Anthony Avenue, near E. Tremont Avenue, in Mount Hope, police said.

Officers arrived shortly before 6 a.m. and found the 28-year-old victim with gunshot wounds to his chest and face.

He was rushed St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was ultimately pronounced dead.

He has not been identified by police.

Two other men – a 27-year-old and a 25-year-old – went to the same hospital to be treated for gunshot wounds.

The 27-year-old was shot in the left thigh and the 25-year-old was shot in the left calf.

They’re both expected to survive and will be questioned by police about what happened.

No arrests have been made and police are continuing to investigate the shooting.
