2 hospitalized after driver t-bones livery cab in East Harlem hit-and-run

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) --  A driver accused of fleeing the scene after a crash early Monday in East Harlem is sought by police. 

The incident occurred at approximately 1 a.m. at 129th Street and Park Avenue.

Officials say two people were hospitalized after the driver of an Acura t-boned a Toyota livery cab.

One passenger, a 62-year-old woman was critically injured in the hit-and-run and remains at Harlem Hospital.

The 47-year-old male driver of the for-hire vehicle is remains in stable condition officials say.

Police say there was also passenger in the backseat.

The collision seriously damaged both vehicles and caused the airbags to deploy.

Authorities say the driver of the Acura ran out of the vehicle away from the scene.

Investigator are canvasing the area for surveillance footage.
